hey! it’s carly.

Iʻm a beach volleyball player, medical sales rep and small business owner from Hawaiʻi. Welcome to my site!

This is my creative outlet and a place where I try to be as honest as possible. My blog posts contain a lot of personal anecdotes/rumblings and things I think that we all go through. If you dare to read, I hope it leads you to some self exploration and comfort in knowing we’re all working through similar feelings.

I’m still figuring out life day by day… “striving valiantly, daring greatly, so that I shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat” (Man in the Arena). I appreciate you stopping by :)

Plus, the location is top tier. The stadium is awesome and the food is *chefs kiss. Kaitlyn and I had so much fun here and battled through some fun games.

  • If youʻre from Hawaiʻi, you know this powerhouse soy sauce brand. Aloha Shoyu was established in 1946 by five local Japanese families in Kalihi, Oʻahu. Growing up, my mom would always buy the huge jug of Aloha Shoyu from costco and add it in my favorite dishes like fried rice, spam musubi and shoyu chicken. Iʻm super excited to be apart of their special team.
